Multi-Cam

this multi cam uniform cost me around 100 dollars including the Boony hat and ACU Pants and shirt. the vest i got separately for about 24 dollars. this uniform was made by Propper Public safety. muli cam is state of the art and the pattern is made by Cry industries. no matter which environment you enter the pattern conceals you. so i can virtually go from urban to jungle to desert without changing my uniform. i absolutely love it!

on the down side to this particular uniform is the Velcro, Velcro makes noise when you use it and every single pocket excluding the butt pockets on the pants are velcro... i know its quicker than using buttons but id rather have buttons on the pockets that i use more often. also the quality of the Velcro seems to be lacking durability. as everyone knows velco eventually wears out after prolonged usage. and with the cost of the uniform id expect better quality. but im not worried about the Velcro on the arms where the patches and flags go because i wont be taking items on and off as much.

some other things i dislike are, the zipper is plastic so im weighting for that to break...and there is the lack of Velcro for name tapes which i really needed...and a lack of Velcro for the rank so ive simply put pins on the hat and jacket. the last thing Ive noticed is that when the uniform rubs together it makes the noise i can only describe as those running pants that are plastic rubbing together. other than that though the uniform is excellent and im willing to deal with the ups and downs of it because all together the pros outweigh the cons and the stitching seems to be great so i know it will last a long time.

Under Shirt

This is one of my under shirts with the Bravo company 8th Tank Battalion 4th Marine Division Syracuse NY Symbol on it.

Russian Winter Bottoms

The fact that they are made of wool makes them very worm (and itchy). they are a little heavy and i would hate for them to get wet. And yet the Russians have no style for camo.

(update as of July 6 2009, after using these the entire winter i take back my comment about them being heavy when wet...when wearing them Ive never gotten them to the point where water has even soaked threw the pants.)

OD Russian Bottoms

These pants are nice in that they are very light and tighten around the waist without a belt and they stay. they would make a nice Russian Class A Uniform. I do not recommend using them as a camo uniform.

Standerd Woodland top (Winter)

I love this camo its got the same camo quality's as the summer uniform but its nice and worm. Its easy to move around in, but i have not worn my vest over it yet so i figure that might make it a little harder. I like that the uniform has lots of pockets to keep things.

Standerd Woodland

Now this stuff is nice to have. I used it so much its got holes in the pants pockets and one in the knee. The stuff works very well, not as good as digital but its good. It is light and keeps you very cool.

Desert Camo

The Desert Camo is very nice to have just in case, but is not very practical around my area. its OK for urban type areas and I used it for Winter. I personally like the 6 color Type Desert Camo better but ether way I do not use it.

True-Spec, Marine Digital Uniform

Now the bases to any good game of Airsoft or real conflicts period requires good camo. My favorite type of camo is Marine Digital, it blends in with the foliage and screws up the way the eye focuses on you. My friends have noticed that during a game when I'm booking across the field they loose sight of me for a split second, and this is due to the fact that the pattern on the uniform messes with the eye. and when you lay still in foliage your like a ghost.
Now the camo works by confusing what the brain thinks it sees, the brain recognizes different shapes and colors, but the digital confuses the brain by distorting the shape of the body.
Now I don't really care how it works but in this situation it helps you understand what and how you use your surroundings to hide where you are I talk about this more in my camo tactics section.

Under Armor Heat Gear ( loose fit )

This is my under armor I got because i became so sick of running around in the heat and sweating my but off. So around $30 latter I am not feeling so bad after an hours game. The loose stuff works really good and feels like you are running around with silk as thin as paper on, and it is almost that thin. But it is very durable. It helps me stay a little cooler when i have my uniform on, but during a rest if I take my uniform top off I cool off faster than it takes me to reload my gun. Now I am no expert on how the stuff works nor do I care that much but I'm just glad the manufacturer knows what their doing because I enjoy something that does what it says it does.
